Friday night the Buffalos from Marshall HS survived and stayed unbeaten.  The game against Hightower was no walk in the park.  Devon Achane made his mark early in the game with an 80 yard kick off return touchdown putting his team up by 6.  But, Hightower would answer with plays of their own to cut into the lead before halftime.  The game could have went either way but a costly fumble in overtime allowed Marshall to gain the needed edge.  This is Hightower’s second time this season they’ve come up short in a close game.  Last week they fell to the Tigers of Fort Bend Travis HS 37-30.  Marshall has the ability to be very dominate if they clean up some of the smaller things.  Marshall’s coach states, “Little things can make a difference on both sides of the ball.”
