Sam Houston beats Prairie View 41-32

Sam Houston was able to edge out a win over Prairie View A&M Saturday night at Bowers Stadium.  The Bearkats were ranked 4th nationally among FCS teams, but the game was a lot closer than fans expected.  In total yardage, Sam Houston would only gain 14 more total yards than Prairie View.  The transfer Junior quarterback Mike Dare looked decent but showed he needed more snaps as he threw for 169 yards with 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.  The tale of the game would be the 2 Prairie View turnover fumbles, each resulting in a score for the Bearkats.  Prairie View A&M would fight hard in this game but came up short in the end 32-41.  Sam Houston will host North Dakota next Saturday while Prairie View will travel to UNLV.
