To kick of the 2018 High School football season North Shore would take on Katy HS, the team that ended their hopes of a state title last year. But unlike last year, North Shore would be the one coming out victorious as they beat Katy HS 35 – 21. The next week they would go on to blow out Ridge Point 44-0. These two games displayed North Shore’s readiness and talent level this season, while serving as indicators for how the rest of the season could go. In week 3 it would be time for North Shore to face another promising team, Westfield HS. Everyone hoped for a grueling grudge match, but in the end it would be North Shore showing why they are the team to beat this year as they trampled an unbeaten Westfield HS 35 – 3. North Shore showed they had some kinks to work out, but they finally got the ball rolling in the 2nd quarter as they scored a pair of touchdowns and began to move the ball more smoothly. It’s obvious North Shore has sent a message to all Region III teams, bring it.
