Seven Lakes started the season with a 3 point loss to Memorial HS.  In week two they regrouped a won convincingly against La Porte HS by 42 points.  In week three they squeeked a one point win by SFA HS.  In week four Seven Lakes looked like they were tired of being in the close games and wanted to make a statement.  In week four they took on Houston Heights.  Despite not having a few starters in their rotation, Seven Lakes still managed to open their spread offense and rush for over 230 yards.  To go with the pounding offense, the defensive line also looked good as senior outside line backer David Ugwoegbu and junior defensive tackle Tiago Sumbo made tremendous defensive stops.
